Temperament
Senegals are noticeably calmer and quieter than conures or Amazons, and they entertain themselves well. The characteristic trait is a strong tendency to bond to one person and become dismissive or nippy toward everyone else. Deliberate handling by all household members from the outset is the standard countermeasure.
Care
Modest space requirements by parrot standards, but the same core needs: pelleted diet with fresh produce, daily interaction, and rotating foraging enrichment. Their quietness makes them apartment-viable where most parrots are not.
